Tiga returns to reveal the most important hallways of the human heart with “ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME,” breathing new, sensual life into the Overt Power Romance genre.

Written with frequent collaborator Matthew Dear and completed with new best friends Jump Source, the new single’s cryptically autobiographical lyrics and heartrending 80s synth-pop atmospherics contrast with the singer-producer’s penchant for impossibly muscular bangers where he repeats the coolest things you’ve ever heard over and over. “I have two emotions – this is the other one,” says Tiga. “Now I’mma make YOU feel.”

And feel now we do. “ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME” sparked an Instagram riot when Tiga teased a brief excerpt. Fans flooded his DMs with thousands of pleas to release the track immediately, which took his team months to delete unread. “It’s rewarding to write lyrics that resonate with people on a personal level,” confides Tiga. “Here’s a little something off the dome right now: ’There’s so much to discover / Under the covers / In the backseat of my Audi machine…’ I mean, it’s like breathing to me.”

“Everyone I meet says I’ve done an incredibly good job masking my arrogance to this point,” he muses. “Sure, you can turn me loose with $350 Canadian in an Armani Exchange and I’ll change your fucking life, but at the end of the day I’m still wonderin’ about happiness like everyone else. And to let people know that, to connect with them…yeah, I’d say that’s worth fighting for.”

“ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME” is the second in a series of singles planned for release over the coming months, a display of adrenaline-soaked generosity culminating in HOTLIFE, an album set for next year. Please get ready.
