Aili: Toki Doki (Stones Taro Remix) [eskimo] 2023

Aili was formed in 2020 by singer Aili Maruyama and beatmaker Transistorcake, who create an original groove with their haunting lyrics and refined techno tracks. ‘Dansu EP (Japan Edition)’ includes 5 songs from the original ‘Dansu EP’ released in 2021, plus 4 special remixes by Shinichi Osawa, Nariaki Obukuro, Stones Taro and ZOMBIE-CHANG. The title track gained attention in Japan when it was introduced on J-WAVE’s popular music program “Flip Side Planet” that very same year. AILI made their first visit to Japan in September 2022, performing at the J-WAVE sponsored music festival “INSPIRE TOKYO” at the Yoyogi Gymnasium in Tokyo. They also appeared at the Belgian Beer Weekend in Nagoya in May 2023 and sold out their solo performance at Time Out Cafe & Diner in Tokyo, showing their growing popularity in Japan.
