Wareika & dOP: Late Night Swim [Live At Robert Johnson] 2025

Music flows like a river. It finds its path, connects places, people and stories. This is how Late Night Swim was born, on the banks of the Elbe where Wareika shaped their rhythms. Three alchemists of sound who weave jazz, dub and house into a current that makes the invisible tangible.
The journey flows to the Seine, where dOP joins with voice and words. Two rivers, two cities, five artists creating one sound. Late Night Swim is a dive between dream and reality, music that moves across borders and turns friendship into sound.

Every river has its tributaries, and so three remixes carry the stream into new directions.

Lee Curtiss rises from Detroit with playful and sensual sound. As a founding force of Visionquest he has shaped the electronic landscape with releases on Spectral, Get Physical and Wolf and Lamb. His remixes move with charm and wit, seductive currents that invite and surprise.

Crihan, born in Transylvania and refined in Bucharest, has carved his path since 2004. With more than sixty vinyl releases under names such as Crihan, Discret Popescu and Modest Ionescu, he is known for subtle experimentation and hypnotic precision. His remix unfolds like a river delta, intricate, layered and always in motion.

From Jena come HCHx, four sonic travelers shaped by the Saale as it flows into the Elbe. Their music moves between house and experimental textures, both driving and ethereal, carried by contrasts of pulse and reflection, light and shadow. Their remix is waves that rise and return until they merge into one vast current where time and space dissolve.

And just as every river finally meets the sea, this release finds its way to the North, where all waters join and become one. Late Night Swim is not only a track, it is a journey. A stream to let yourself fall into.
